Jian Wen, (born 1st February 1989), better known as Lester, is a amateur Singaporean footballer, who plays for TeamR-age.

Jian Wen's special talent as a footballer caught the eye of then team manager, Joey Tan. He played primarily as a winger on both flanks. Jian Wen's amateur career began when he was offered a contract with TeamR-age in 2001. He was 12 years old. Although comparatively smaller built compared to his peers, he shown tremendous heart in his football, often taking on players twice his size in trainings. Deservingly, a year later, he made his first team appearence in 2002 at the age of 13. Since then, he has established himself as a regular squad player. At present (2007), given he is still only 18 years young and fast gaining experience, this is definitely a future star in the making.

Hi all,
I have just started a new idea in our team. For those who have been following the emails, I will do a featured player segment on the blog for every player who is in teamrage and his birthday is in that month.
I have done one for lester. Since he was a feb 1st baby. I shall be doing the other feb babies and then the march ones… since now is already march…
This is just my simple birthday gift (as blog admin) for these players.
